If you or someone you know is in crisis, the Maricopa County Crisis Line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at (602) 222-9444. The line is staffed by trained behavioral-health professionals and is free to call from anywhere in the county.

When to call

Call if you (or someone you care about) are:

  • Thinking about harming yourself or others
  • Experiencing a mental health crisis and need immediate support
  • In emotional distress and unsure where to turn
  • Worried about a family member's safety

What to expect

A clinician will answer, listen, and help you figure out next steps. If needed, they can dispatch a mobile crisis team to your location — no insurance, no copay, no appointment.

You are not alone

Reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness. If you can't make the call yourself, ask someone you trust to call on your behalf.
